Irsha- the god of jealousy,

plinky sachi“Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy – in fact, they are almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other.”

― Robert A. HeinleinStranger in a Strange Land

“Every one wants power, and whatever makes people powerful is worshiped.”

“And what is it?”

“Not what, it who”

The gods in the room turned round and looked at Manmatha the god of love. “Love, is what everything and most powerful”

“No, it is Vijaya, the victory, call me Vijaya, Nikes who ever but I am the ultimate”

“No matter, who, you need me to take you” everyone turned to the voice,

“haa! Irsha, jealous you dragon, you slay under the pretence of keeping it alive.”

Agni the god of fire, he controlled all flames, it was through him the sacrifice to the Gods was done, yet, that day he felt his body aflame, he for a moment could understand what happens when he possess someone,

“Welcome to the wonderful world of jealousy, for admission you get a head ache, a nearly irresistible urge to commit murder and an inferiority complex” It was Sachi the wife of Indra the King of Gods,

She was smiling at him, anger and helpless in Agni blazed higher.

“Some people reckon thathealousy is a disease.”

Agni stared helplessly at Sachi, since she was the goddess of wrath and jealousy he didn’t dare say anything to her, after all Irsha was known to be her favourite.

He remembered Vashsita the Brahmarishi saying, that human minds links love and jealousy, immature minds mistake one actually they were absolute contradiction.

As Agni was mulling over it, Sachi smiled at him, it was one of the most beautiful smiles, Agni could not really believe that someone who was so graceful and beautiful could be the Goddess all things so negative like wrath and jealousy.

“I am the cause and means, so are my minions” said Sachi.

Agni was totally puzzled.

Let me explain said Sachi,”when Irsha enters your life, he makes you aware of an inner ambition. He makes you aware of an incomplete that you are dealing with. He will stay with you until you complete that incompleteness. So that incompleteness becomes a goal for you to achieve, for growth.”

Agni was quite taken aback he had never acknowledge Irsha in his true form.

“This is the secret that we have coded in the Vedas, the only disease is ignorance. The moment you accept what Irsha is making you aware of, he also shows you the road to shraddha, the goddess of effort to overcome this incompleteness. Once shraddha enters Irsha takes a back stage. Unfortunately humans have ceased to understand Irsha in his true form.”

Jealousy is not a foe; make him your friend and inspiration.
