In the comedy of “Ground hog day” Bill Murray experienced the same day again and again stuck in a time loop until he got the day “right” what day would I choose till I got it right? Do I think it’s ever possible to get life right?
The more pertinent question would be what is my perfect day and as for getting life right, it is happening right now, I mean the perfect life the question is am I in the zone.
What would a perfect day be? A day filled with the glow of ordinary things and we pass them quietly from hand to hand for a long time then someone says she had picked a perfect day to be born, I think it is the same for us, though we fail to acknowledge it. Strangely we never know the biggest day of our lives not until it’s happening. We don’t recognize the biggest day in our life until we right in the middle of the day. The day we commit to something, or someone, the day our heart was broken. The day we met our soul mate, the day we realize that there’s not enough time, we want to live for ever, each day that we had these epiphany is a perfect day. Yes even the day we had our heart broken only when we had it broken we realized that there was someone who could fix it.
Believe me, each morning is a new beginning, a new blessing a new hope. It’s a perfect day because it’s God’s gift. Have a blessed hopeful, perfect day to begin with. A day when the wind is perfect, the sail just needs to open and the world is full of beauty. Today is such a day.
All these perfect days, made of glass
Put on the shelf where they can cast
perfect shadows that stretch and grow
on the imperfect days down below.
… perfect shadows that shift and glow…
… perfect shadows that shift and grow…
