Which of the 5 senses will I choose, isn’t that strange,
Now this magic man here is offering me the potion, something that will sharpen one of the 5 senses, which one will I choose? It will sharpen at the cost of the others; there is no free lunch after all.
Touch comes before sight, before speech, it is the first language and the last, and it always tells the truth! Margaret Atwood’s opinion, not bad.
Our bodies have five senses, touch, smell, taste, sight hearing. But not to be overlooked are the senses of our souls: intuition, peace, foresight, trust empathy. The difference between people lies in their use of theses sense. Most people don’t know anything about the inner sense while a few people rely on them just as they rely on their physical senses and in fact probably even more.
This reminds me of a story from Hindu mythology, when the, moolapurusha the first man lay down, each of the organ, beginning with eye claimed that he was the best, he was the most powerful and without him man was useless Just then the life energy, called Dhananjaya Prana woke, and declared that these egos were irritating him, so he would leave, as he got, each of the senses realized that they had lost their powers.
To me this Dhananjaya Prana is also the inner soul sense of intuition, peace, foresight, trust empathy. It is the energy that exists between people when feel seen, heard and valued. When they can give and receive without judgement and when derive sustenance and strength from relationships.
