cloneWere I to clone myself, the issues would be great many.

To be honest we’ve had cloning in India for eons and it’s called cousins.  If I were to be cloned then I would actually be older than myself. Weird huh?

Again my face and body are not my essence. My actions, ideas and ideals are the stuff of me. My clone will have my face and body but he won’t be me. Remember Robert Shea’s observation a permanent division of labour inevitably creates occupational and class inequality and conflict. Though  when the whole is involved there is no work, work begins with division of labour.

The whole thing is too complicated and unworthy of my time. If ever I do have a clone I would say

“I would keep my head and give her the ache.”
